Schlatter Christmas at Thanksgiving

The Schlatter Gift Exchange took place the weekend of Thanksgiving.

Looks like everyone had a great time. I know the kids are definitely enjoying the new coats from Grandma and Grandpa. Jonny got an arrow set, Nate got some legos, and Abi got some cool fabric to make her own pillow with and Ethan got this cool blue tractor! Thank YOU to everyone.

Homeschool Skate Party

The kids LOVE the skate party and could not wait for it to come this year.

It didn't take long and they were pros skating around the rink.

Even Ethan was getting good at it.

Family Christmas Tree

I am so excited.

This year, the Farmer gave me the opportunity to get some new decorations. One of the things we got, was a family tree. This tree is colorful, fun filled, and full of our special family ornaments.

We had a great time decorating and it is so fun to see the joy in the kids' faces.

Fall Fun

The annual fall gathering at the Schlatter farm took place on Nathan's Birthday weekend. It was great to see all the family together, gathered around the bonfire.

Nate's 8th Birthday Cake

This year Nate decided that he wanted a bull riding cake. He had been watching PBR on YouTube with the Farmer and thought it would be cool. I agonized for weeks on how I was going to pull that off. Then one day, we stopped in at Miller Hardware in Downs and found these official PBR figurines. It worked great!

Not only was it a great cake, but now he has some fun toys.
