Well, Marion decided to go ahead and try hatching some chicks of his own. We also got some eggs from Aunt Sharlyn so we have around 60 eggs in the incubator on the porch.
After careful consideration, Marion went ahead and started them so that they would be hatching by March 31st and be done by April 2nd for sure. So, if all goes well, we will have baby chicks hatching for Easter!
I'll have to keep you posted on how many of our 60 eggs actually do hatch. Marion has been amazed at all that goes into hatching eggs...he is thoroughly enjoying his first experience with this!
