Thank you all for your prayers and support.
Our meeting with the doctors got moved up to 11:30 this morning. (As it turned out, this was yet one more time God provided and showed Himself faithful to us in this situation.) As we waited for the meeting and prepared our hearts, we sought God for a clear direction and felt His peace. The meeting was very short and very clear - we needed to let Sarah go.
The nurses, doctors, and hospital staff were all very supportive and helpful. I was able to give Sarah a bath and spend some time with her. They provided an outfit for her and a blanket, and when the time came we were able to move into the family room and hold her.
All of Marion's family was there with us for awhile. When it was time to say goodbye, Marion and I shared a private moment alone with our pastor, Pastor Pat, and we held our little girl as she went to be with Jesus!
Arrangements are being made for this coming weekend. I will post the details when we have more information.
Again, thank all of you for your prayers and support. Our God is faithful and is carrying us through this.
